Well, here it is – 2:30 in the morning and I'm making up for lost time. Everything that happened this week was unexpected, from children in my daycare arriving too early each day, to children leaving too late, to interruption after interruption, to daily changes in plans.
Now that I can finally breathe, I find myself sleeping fitfully, where I was nearly comatose for about three hours, then woke with a start and finally just gave up trying to sleep, which is why I'm sitting here at 2:31 in the morning writing a blog.
Despite the interruptions, this week has been very productive, too. I've been writing an article about a woman entrepreneur who has designed a computer program that will make life a lot easier for people who enjoy cooking and baking.
What? How does that even connect, you're wondering? I can't tell you yet – and I'm sorry if I sound evasive – I promise that in the next couple of weeks, not only will I share the article with you, I will also introduce you to this innovative woman.
"Fill a need and you'll succeed," should be this creative person's motto, because she certainly has succeeded in filling a need.
More on her later. Now it is time for me to return to my bed and hopefully find the same peace you see here with two of my grandchildren, Kaden and Zac, in this blurry photo.
