For several days, I was without ALL of my Google blogs. I won't belabor the point, though I must admit I was distraught because of all the memories I'd recorded and thought I'd lost. Confused and mystified, I had to ask, What Did I Do Wrong, GOOGLE? (My wordpress blog was my only working blog.)
After days of research, I have discovered that I was not the only one whose blogs had disappeared. Missing blogs seems to be a current and ongoing problem. Don't panic (as I did). I am here to offer help in retrieving your blog(s) and your gmail account. But first I'd like to address what you should NOT do.
Do NOT call Google's customer service (yes, you can reach Google):
Google Corporate Office Headquarters HQ
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, CA 94043
Google's Phone Number: +1 650-253-4000
Google Fax Number: 1-650-253-0001
However, if you attempt to CALL their customer service line, Google will tell you that they don't have telephone support set up. You'll have to reach Google support through the Google Web Site.
First go to the Google support web site and make a claim. Tell Google exactly what happened when your blog disappeared or, as in my case, what didn't happen (one day my blogs were there; the next day my blogs were missing).
Also, because the problem seems to be happening to numerous people, you should add your name to THIS GOOGLE SUPPORT LIST.
If you didn't violate Google's TOS (Terms of Service), if you didn't spam, and if you didn't accidentally delete your blog, try this route. It worked for me.
THANK YOU, GOOGLE, FOR REINSTATING MY BLOGS!
